Dental
Extraction
There are several reasons to extract
a tooth from your mouth, including
decay, crowding and periodontal
disease. If you are experiencing
a severe toothache, contact All
Day All Night Dental immediately
to find out whether you need an
emergency dental extraction. Our
Sydney area emergency dental practice
can help relieve you of any pain
so the healing process can begin.
If left untreated, a damaged tooth
may cause additional problems, as
well as continued discomfort.
The
Dental Extraction Process
First, a local anesthetic will
be used to numb the area. We also
provide general anesthesia to lessen
anxiety about the dental extraction
procedure. A general anesthetic
will allow you to sleep through
the entire procedure. Following
your dental extraction, Dr. Ajaje
may provide you with stitches.
The dental extraction recovery process
generally lasts only a few days.
During this time you will need to
rinse your mouth out with warm salt
water to accelerate the healing
process and to reduce swelling.
We will also provide you with a
comprehensive list of practices
to help lessen recovery time.
Periodontal
(Gum) Disease
Sore, bleeding gums may be a sign
of periodontal, or gum, disease.
Our Sydney area emergency dental
practice can help. A serious gum
disorder, periodontal disease affects
the gums and other soft tissues
of the mouth. An earlier form of
periodontal disease, gingivitis
is caused by the build up of toxic
bacteria in the mouth, usually between
teeth and under the gum line where
plaque and food particles collect.
Symptoms of periodontal disease
include sore, receding or bleeding
gums. Sydney area residents can
take advantage of a variety of treatment
options available at All Day All
Night Dental. Treatment includes
soft tissue grafting, pocket reduction
and regeneration.

Denture
Repair
Dentures that don’t fit well
can be uncomfortable as well as
painful to wear. Ill-fitting dentures
are also more prone to breakage,
which requires costly repairs. All
Day All Night Dental handles these
dental emergencies with ease by
being available 24-hours a day,
seven days a week for your convenience.
We have the skill to custom craft
and repair many different types
of dentures. Whether you wear full,
partial or over dentures, we are
the final destination for your denture
needs.
TMJ
(Jaw) Disorders
If you suffer from migraines or
consistently feel facial pain, the
culprit may be teeth grinding. Teeth
grinding usually occurs at night
and causes pain, muscle spasms and
temporomandibular joint (TMJ) changes.
Located just beneath the ears, the
TMJ joint can be the root of jaw
clenching.
TMJ Symptoms:
• Swelling
• Ringing in the ear
• Facial pain
• Muscle spasms
• Jaw lock
• Migraines
• Jaw clicking or popping.
If you suffer from any of the above,
our Sydney area emergency dental
practice has extensive experience
treating and managing the symptoms
of TMJ disorders. Don’t suffer
with the pain and frustration of
TMJ symptoms such as jaw clicking
and teeth grinding any longer.
ZOOM
2 TEETH WHITENING
Zoom 2 is a new and improved version
of the Zoom! professional tooth
whitening system. The original Zoom!
in-office system was far and away
the most popular office whitening
system, with over 15,000 Zoom! lamps
in use. The designers of this system
at Discus Dental weren't completely
happy though, and decided to revamp
the system, giving us an even better
system for whitening teeth
. Zoom 2 can whiten a patients
teeth by 8 shades in merely 45 minutes,
that's 33% faster than the original.
The Zoom gel used to whiten teeth
could leave teeth sensitive, especially
to hot and cold, and even after
a fluoride treatment at the end
of the procedure. Zoom 2 remedies
that, and leaves teeth 67% less
sensitive. What is even more amazing
is that the Zoom! system was known
for leaving teeth less sensitive
than other similar systems. Discus
Dental also revamped their optical
guidance system, helping things
move faster and with more precision.
Zoom 2 in-office whitening is now
being offered here at the The Smiles
Dr. If you are interested in whitening
your teeth, either at the office
or at home, and would like to discuss
your alternatives, please consider

well being and you are welcome to
